How I landed 3 brands across 5 days

This doesn’t happen without very specific intention - so here was my intention:

THE INTENTION:

We need healthy food where we eat most: our homes and where we work.

Which is why getting wellness bowls into your fridge every Sunday and getting wellness bowls to the office is our focus.

But here’s the thing, when I worked at a firm, team lunch options sucked. It could ruin an afternoon of productivity. The choice of food is a choice of how we want to feel.  

And, I’m seeing that people care about making the wellness choice. It’s why I landed 3 brands across 5 days:

• Sephora

• Mentimeter (global software company)

• A premium fashion brand for a Canadian celebrity client (asked to remain anonymous)

So how did I actually do it?

• Sephora

  • Across a week, I went through my LinkedIn network and identified anyone who I had a cool or warm relationship

  • Sent personalized messages via direct message

  • I almost didn’t send the below message but I am determined to bring this food where we need it most

     

    

• She’s a VP at a completely different company and her sister works at Sephora. Her and her sister GET the importance of this food

• In her introductory email, she included:

  

• We exchanged a few emails.

• Then, earlier this week, we receive an urgent request for wellness bowls. We, of course, say yes to the opportunity.

• Feedback received: they will be reordering. lfg!!!

• That’s the Sephora story.

Mentimeter

• I went through my entire Instagram network.

• I reached out to someone I previously met networking who worked in a Sales role at Mentimeter.

• She kindly introduced me to their Office Experience Manager who makes all the food decisions.

• Last week, an email came in from him asking for wellness bowls for an in-person team session at a co-working space.

• We hammered out details and we delivered wellness bowls this week:

  

• That’s the Mentimeter story. LFG! PS. This was their second order with us.

Premium fashion brand for a Canadian celebrity

• One of my clients who has been eating our wellness bowls for 3 months referred me for this opportunity.

• She works at a premium fashion brand, and she understands how impactful the right food.

• AND, when in a clothing fitting, feeling great is big.

• So we were asked to prepare wellness bowls and juices, delivered to their head office.

• That’s the premium fashion brand story.

When I take a step back, isn’t this what good food is meant to do? Good food brings us together. 

And so, I have a question that could put money back in your pocket - would you like a Better Bowls referral program? When you share us with a friend, a family member, an office colleague, we want you to monetarily share our growth. Potentially a credit on your future order?
